Gilbert White (1720-1793) British naturalist, communicated several papers to the Royal Society, via Daines Barrington FRS.
Sir William Jardine, of Applegirth, seventh baronet (1800-1874) British naturalist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1860.
