Description
A mahogany ballot box, facing slightly to the left [as viewed], with a rectangular body and circular funnel for dropping voting balls into the ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ compartments, indicated by stickers. A drawer is fitter to the lower panel, also divided in two by ‘Y’ and ‘N’ stickers.

Exact provenance unknown. Likely used to take votes at Council/Committee meetings of the Royal Society or Royal Society Club.
