Professor Eleanor Anne Maguire (b.1970), Irish neuroscientist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2016. She won the Rosalind Franklin Award in 2008 and used her award to develop an essay competition about famous female scientists for students aged 12-14 years old.
