Professor Miles John Padgett (b.1963), British optical physicist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2014. He was awarded the Rumford Medal in 2019 for his research in optical orbital momentum including an angular form of the Einstein-Padolsky-Rosen paradox.
