Figures 1-17. Microscopic views of various salts dissolved in water, including: St Benedict’s thistle salts (1); Wormwood salts (2); Alum salts (3); Potassium nitrate salts (4); Copper sulphate salts (5); Potassium carbonate salts (6); Potash salts (7, 9, 11); Salts of camphor (8); Calcium oxide salts (12-13); Glasswort salts (14-15), and; Salammoniac salts (15-17).
