Half-length portrait of John Smith, turned to the right [as viewed], looking directly out at the viewer and pointing to his own engraved print of Godfrey Kneller. With a loose robe, white necktie and fur hat. Engraved by Smith after a portrait by Kneller.

Charles Turnor presented his Collectanea Newtoniana. Being a selection of the most authentic engraved portraits of Sir Isaac Newton Knt., and other eminent Philosophers Mathematicians and Distinguished Men … to the Royal Society in 1837.
