One large scene of Fellows and guests in the main Library of Burlington House, notable for showing women guests; and with five views of specific exhibits.
The figures are numbered and described as follows: 1. Experiments with soap bubbles [Charles Vernon Boys]. 2. Writing telegraph [John M. Richards]. 3. Welsh gold [exhibited by William Crookes, shown with Mrs Rix]. 4. Phoneidoscope colour figures [Sedley Taylor]. 5. The electric eel [Zoological Society of London]. 6. The conversazione.
