Sir Charles Galton Darwin (1887-1962), British physicist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1922 and served as the Vice President between 1939 and 1941. He was awarded the Society’s Royal Medal in 1935 and delivered its Rutherford Lecture in 1956.
