Neil Hamilton Fairley (1891-1966), Australian physician and medical scientist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1942. He was awarded the Society's Buchanan Medal in 1957 for ‘his distinguished contributions to the control of malaria’. He served as the President of the RSTMH between 1951-1953.
