Donald Hill Perkins (b.1925), British physicist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1966. He was awarded the Royal Medal in 1997 ‘in recognition of his contributions to experimental particle physics, in particular the elucidation of the structure of the nucleon on the basis of observations of neutrino interactions, the quark substructure of the nucleon, and production of the first q’.
