Sir Theodore Morris Sugden (1919-1984), British chemist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1963 and served as its Vice President between 1973-1974 and 1978-1984, and Secretary and between 1978-1984. He was awarded the Davy Medal in 1975 ‘in recognition of his distinguished contributions to physical chemistry including particularly the reactions occurring in flames’.
