Inscribed: ‘E. U. Eddis del.t on Stone by M. Guaci./ Colnaghi Son and Co. Pall Mall East 1833/ Printed by Graf & Soret.’ With further handwritten annotation ‘Royal Society from LW Dillwyn’.
Lewis Weston Dillwyn (1778 – 1855), British naturalist and porcelain manufacturer, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1804.
