Sir Wilfred Edward le Gros Clark (1895-1971), British anatomist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1935. He was awarded the Society’s Royal Medal in 1961 ‘in recognition of his outstanding contributions to neuroanatomy and primate morphology, which he has combined to provide new knowledge of human evolution’.
