Sir William Vallance Douglas Hodge (1903–1975), British mathematician, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1938, served as Secretary between 1957-1965 and Vice President between 1958-1965. He was awarded the Society’s Royal Medal, 1957, and Copley Medal, 1974.
