    Inscribed below: ‘OWEN SALUSBURY BRERETON Esqr. F.R. & A.S late Vice President of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce. Engraved by W. Evans from an original Miniature furnished by the late John Holliday Esqr.’.

    Owen Salusbury Brereton (1715-1798) British antiquary, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1762.
