    Head and shoulders portrait of Thomas Hollis, in the form of a sculpture bust set within a niche.

    Frontispiece to Transactions of the Society, instituted at London, for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce… [Transactions of the Royal Society of Arts] v.23 (1805).

    Inscribed below: ‘Thomas Hollis Esqr. F.R. & A.S. of Coscombe in the County of Dorset. Drawn by T. Uwins & Engraved by Charles Warren. From an original Bust in the possession of Dr. Disney.’.

    Thomas Hollis (1720-1774) British antiquary and political publisher was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1757.
