Description
Botanical illustration of the Barkeria lindleyana or Lindley’s Barkeria. Depicting a single specimen with two long stems, both with four leaves at the base and a linear bract bearing several deep pinkish purple flowers. The sepals and petals are small and open with a large lip, white and ridged at the centre. A detail of the lip can be seen in the lower left-hand corner.
