Description
Botanical illustration of Barkerai spectabilis or the shewy Barkerai orchid. A single specimen showing a cluster of thick stems, segmented and sheathed, with a pair or broad dark green leaves issuing from the top. A raceme emerges bearing a handful of large flowers, pinkish purple in colour with deep red spot markings on the lip.
