    Inscribed below: ‘J. Webber pinxit.’ ‘F. Bartolozzi R.A. sculp.’ ‘Captn James King L.L.D. F.R.S./Publish’d as the Act directs, June 4th. 1784, by J.Webber, No 312, Oxford Street.’

    James King (1750-1784), British naval officer, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1781.
