Sir Gabriel Horn (1927-2012), British neuroscientist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1986. He was awarded the Royal Medal in 2001 "In recognition of his work on the neurobiological mechanisms of behavioural imprinting, embracing molecular, cellular, anatomical, electrophysiological and ethological approaches to learning and memory."
