Thomas Nelson Marsham (1923-1989), British nuclear physicist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1986. He was awarded the Esso Energy Award in 1978, along with Alexander Gilchrist Frame, John Michael Laithwaite, Alfred David Evans and John Frederick William Bishop for their joint contributions, variously through the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and the Nuclear Power Company, to the development of the successful Prototype Fast Reactor at Dounreay which was commissioned in 1976.
