Patricia Hannah Clarke (1919-2010), British biochemist, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1976 and served on its Council between 1980 and 1982. She gave the Leeuwenhoek lecture in 1979 on Experiments in microbial evolution: new enzymes, new metabolic activities.
