John Frank Davidson (1926-2019), British chemical engineer, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1974 and served on the Council between 1988 and 1989. He was awarded the Leverhulme Medal in 1984 and the Royal Medal in 1999 for his distinguished contribution to chemical engineering.
