Head and shoulders portrait of John Donald Rose inclined to the right as viewed and looking directly to viewer. He wears short hair parted on the right and is dressed in a pinstriped suit, white shirt and spotted tie. A pocket square is visible from the left-hand breast pocket of his jacket.
