    Map of a section of the St. Lawrence River, just northeast of Quebec City, with the Île d'Orléans visible at the left edge of the map. A number of the smaller islets within the river are marked, including Ile Madame seen on the left, Grosse Ile towards the centre and the Isle-aux-Grues towards the right.
