    Map showing the natural harbours of Port Antonio on the northeast coast of Jamaica. Governor Lynch's Island, now known as Navy Island, can be seen between the east and west harbours, with Woods Island shown near the top of the map.

    Jacques-Nicolas Bellin (1703-1772), French hydrographer, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1753.
