    Map of the harbour and port area of Cap-Haïtien on the northwest coast of Hispaniola, shown here as Cap-Français, the capital of the French Colony of Saint-Domingue. The main town is shown on the right side of the image with fortifications shown along the coast and on a fort seen on one of the islands in the bay.
