Description
Map showing Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, and the nearby commune of Léogâne. The fortified city of Port-au-Prince is shown here whilst the west half of Hispaniola was occupied by France as the colony of Saint-Domingue. The map is orientated so that up is South and down is North.
