    Stereoscopic view of earthquake damage in St Pietro, Italy. Showing an overthrown house with missing walls and roof. Displaced rubble and earth is piled up at the foot of the building. Wheels of a cart can be seen in the foreground.

    Printed label verso with title and a brief description. Annotated on the front of the card in ink, "St Pietro near Polla." Numbered "12" in pencil. Collected by Robert Mallet.

    Unpublished but referenced in Mallet's text as Photog. No. 12 at St. Pietro (Coll. Roy. Soc.) vol. 1, page 27. Shown as an example of the structure of buildings in the region 'The undersurface of the floor is often bare, and the joists visible.'
