Description
Half-length portrait of William Hallowes Miller in a dark suit, white shirt and black bow tie. He is shown turned slightly towards his left and is looking out towards the viewer. The image is an enlarged sepia photograph which has been crudely highlighted by hand around the mouth, nose and eyes, giving it a more painterly appearance.
