Half-length portrait of George Brudenell Montagu within an oval frame. He is shown wearing a dark jacket with prominent buttons, a silk cravat and the badge of the order of the Garter displayed on his left lapel.
Inscribed below: ‘Painted by W.Beechy.’ ‘Engraved by J.Collyer, A. Portrait Engraver to Her Majesty.’ ‘George, Duke of Montague, / KNIGHT of the most Noble Order of the GARTER. / Master of the Horse to His Majesty, / and Governor and Constable of Windsor Castle.’
