Description
Three-quarter length portrait of Thomas Pelham-Holles in ceremonial robes holding the staff of office of the Lord Chamberlain. He is turned slightly towards his right and is shown with his left hand on his hip. He is shown against and architectural background and wears a large wig and a grand chain of office around his neck.
