Description
Half-length seated portrait of George Ormerod, turned towards his right. He is shown sitting behind a desk, with a book in his left hand and his spectacles in his right. Two large books are also visible on the desk, with their spines facing the viewer. Ormerod is presented in a jacket, shirt and cravat.
