Profile portrait of Francis Palgrave in a Jacket, shirt and cravat. He is shown facing towards his right and is seen with neat wavy hair. Print etched by Palgrave’s mother-in-law, after whom he took his surname (after her maiden name), having been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society under the name Francis Cohen.
