Three-quarter length standing portrait of Jonathan Frederick Pollock in a dark coat and waistcoat with a white shirt and black cravat. He is shown with his left hand resting on his hip and his right hand outside the edge of the frame, possibly holding the top of a chair or cane.

Sir Jonathan Frederick Pollock, 1st Baronet (1783-1870), British lawyer and mathematician, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1816.
