    Full-length seated portrait of Charles Pratt in judicial robes, bands, a long wig and chain of office. He is turned slightly to his left, with his right arm resting on an ornate writing desk. He is presented in a classical setting with stone columns and a clouded sky seen behind him.

    Inscribed below: ‘Reynolds Pinxit’ ‘J. Boydell excudt 1766’ ‘Haid fecit’.

    Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden (1714-1794), British judge and lawyer, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1742.
