Description
Half-length portrait of Richard Rawlinson in loose clerical robes, bands and a shoulder-length wig. He is seen turned slightly to his left and is facing out towards the viewer. He is shown holding a dark hat in his right hand. Engraved after a painting by an unknown artist which Rawlinson donated to the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford.

Richard Rawlinson (1690-1755), British clergyman, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1714.
