    Half-length seated portrait of John Parker in a fur-trimmed coat, dark jacket, white shirt and white cravat. He is turned slightly to his left with his left elbow resting on the arm of his chair. Engraved by William Say after a painting by his son, Frederick Richard Say.

    John Parker, 1st Earl of Morley (1772-1840), British politician, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1795.
