Sir Martin Evans (b.1941) British biologist was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1993, he was awarded the Copley Medal in 2009 Copley Medal for his revolutionary work on embryonic stem cells in mice. He was appointed a Knight Bachelor in 2004 for services to medical science.
