Half length studio portrait of Sir John Francis Davis turned to the left, an overcoat draped over his arm and holding a hat. He wears an order insignia (baronetage?) on his left breast.
Trimmed at the bottom. The reverse has various inscriptions. Printed: “Maull & Polyblank, Photographers, 55, GRACECHURCH STREET, 187a, PICCADILLY, LONDON.”.
