    Description
Figure for the paper “Account of the hurricane that passed over Roehampton & parts adjacent in October 1780. Illustrated by four drawings made on the spot a few days after the storm”, by Edward Edwards. Landscape showing a mill torn from its brick foundations and lying with its wooden base towards the viewer. Two male figures are shown to the left, one in a white coat (the miller?) indicating the damage to his companion. Centre are two flour barrels upon which a cockerel stands. The mount is damaged lower right in the place where other works in this series are initialled: the mount is inscribed lower right “No.3”.
