Description
Plate 14 from the paper "On a new construction of a condenser and air-pump", by Gilbert Austin, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.103 (1813), pp.138-145. Figures showing the overall construction and several details of vessels, tubes, collars and joints. The sketches are inscribed above with publication and plate details. There is a brief note "Figure 5 at (a b c) is much too large but I have not time to correct or improve it". Not signed. Royal Society stamp verso. Watermark "1807".
