Description
Plate 6 from the paper "A case of the human foetus found in the ovarium, of the size it usually acquires at the end of the fourth month", by Augustus Bozzi Granville, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.110 (1820), pp.101-107. Section of the reproductive organs of a 39-year old woman who died of internal haemorrhage, having a tumor and a pregnancy sited in the ovary. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed and dated lower left "Franz Bauer del. 1819." Royal Society stamp verso.
