    Plate 27 figure 1 from the paper "Particulars respecting the anatomy of the Dugong, intended as a supplement to Sir T.S.Raffles account of that animal", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.110 (1820), pp.315-323. Study of what Home terms "The gastric glands in one mass, and the oesophageal glands, with orifices exposed..." of the dugong (Dugong dugon). The work is inscribed with publication and plate details and a note for printing: "Fig. 1 may be so much reduced in breadth, to get the two figures into the plate". Not signed. Royal Society stamp verso.
