    Plate 31 figure 1 from the paper "Particulars respecting the anatomy of the Dugong, intended as a supplement to Sir T.S.Raffles account of that animal", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.110 (1820), pp.315-323. Sternum and ribs of a female dugong. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details and an inset pencil sketch for printing, to show the arrangement of this and one subsequent figure on the final plate. Not signed. Royal Society stamp verso.
