    Plate 9 from the Croonian Lecture paper "On the anatomical structure of the eye; illustrated by microscopical drawings, executed by F.Bauer, Esq.", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.112 (1822), pp.76-85. Eight figures, two of a dissected goose's head, views from above and side; with internal views of the eye including the vitreous humor and lens. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed lower left "Franz Bauer del." and inscribed in pencil lower right "Is Basire sc." Royal Society stamp verso.
