    Plate 32 from the paper "Observations on the changes the egg undergoes during incubation in the common fowl", by Everard Home, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol.112 (1822), pp.339-356. Twelve figures showing the ovum of a hen "that had been laying for some time" with magnified views of the yolk of an egg and views of the egg, including in the oviduct and newly-laid. With details of publication and plate details inscribed. Signed lower left "Franz Bauer". Royal Society stamp verso.
