Description
Illustrations accompanying a letter describing Antoni van Leeuwenhoek's microscopical observations, dated March 1682. An English extract was printed in Philosophical Collections ed. Robert Hooke (London, 1682) no. 5, pp. 152-160. The figures show microscopic views of muscle fibres of fish (figs. 1 and 2) and micro-organisms (fig. 3).
