    Otto Loewi was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1954.

    Owned by Sir George Lindor Brown (1903-1971) physiologist and Secretary of the Royal Society. Brown represented British scientists at the reinterment of Loewi’s ashes at Wood’s Hole, Massachusetts, U.S.A., in 1962.
