Head and shoulders portrait of an elderly De Luc dressed in a dark suit, balding but with long white hair to the shoulders.
Inscribed in pencil “1773” and “J A de Luc” lower left and right respectively. Inscribed verso: “J A De Luc F.R.S. [chemist – struck through] Geologist 3/6”
